When I'm not tinkering with code, you can often find me building, flying, tuning, and crashing freestyle drones somewhere around Central PA. Alternately, you’re also likely to spot me floating down the Susquehanna river, kayaking and exploring with my trusty sidekick Nigel (a spunky Boston Terrier). It’s a fun way to get some much needed exercise and clear my mind.

One of my current fascinations is finding new ways of implementing AI into the web experiences I build. AI is developing at such a rapid pace, that new use-cases seem to be appearing almost weekly.

With over a decade of experience in web and software development, I've honed my skills and learned many tricks along the way. However, my journey didn't start with lines of code. I began my career as a writer, working on some local and national publications. Eventually, my interest in technology and problem-solving won out and I pivoted into writing code.

Currently, I'm fortunate to be a part of a creative agency where I develop web experiences and software for a diverse range of clients. From ambitious startups to industry-leading Fortune 500 companies, I thrive on collaborating with different teams and creating solutions that elevate their digital presence.

Working for a creative agency has afforded me the opportunity to work in a variety of different modern development platforms and stacks. My role necessitates that I am flexible and able to adapt and learn new systems and frameworks to meet clients’ needs.

Whether it’s building a new WordPress website on a LAMP stack, building out new features for Adobe Experience Manager, or creating a new live events chat platform using Vue.js and Firebase, I’m always up for finding and using the best solution to accomplish a task.

Lately, my focus has been on finding innovative ways to incorporate AI into my projects. Some of these have included creating a WordPress plugin that leverages Microsoft’s Computer Vision API to help assist with ADA compliance, and leveraging GPT-4 to automate categorization of website content.
