About Me

I am a 27 year old full stack web developer living in Wrightsville PA. I currently work for BridgeTower Media, developing and managing a variety of publication and data service websites. Working with a variety of content managements systems, doing database migrations, configuring cloud-based servers, developing our company intranet, and building custom PHP web apps has allowed me to cultivate a diverse set of skills over the past 6 years. Work Experience

2012 - Current

Web Developer - BridgeTower Media (Formerly Journal Multimedia)

Developed and maintained company websites, including petage.com, centralpennparent.com, njbiz.com, cpbj.com, lvb.com, bestcompaniesgroup.com, bestplacestoworkinpa.com, multiple events websites and more.
Migration from proprietary content management systems to WordPress.
Developed custom PHP based School Finder web application, and released custom email automation plugins in the WordPress repository.
Improved website performance by implementing Amazon CloudFront, minifying files, optimizing images and scripts, and improving caching configurations.
Increased conversions on Best Companies Group program websites by improving user experience.
Built Journal Multimedia SharePoint intranet site.
Reduced server costs by refactoring code and moving to a cloud based server architecture on Amazon Web Services.
Moved all publication websites to Google DFP ad delivery network. Created consistency across brands and allowed for automated monthly ad reporting.
